(F) Positions and History

Positions Tab:

Definition: This tab displays the current open options contracts you hold.

Information Included:

  • Strike Price: The predetermined price at which you can buy (call) or sell (put) the underlying asset.

  • Expiration Date: When the options contracts will expire.

  • Premium Paid: The cost you paid to purchase the options.

  • Current Value: The market value of the open positions based on current prices.

  • Profit/Loss: The unrealized profit or loss for each position, showing how much you would gain or lose if you closed the position at that moment.


History Tab:

Definition: This tab provides a record of past transactions related to your options trading.

Information Included:

  • Executed Trades: Details of options you have bought or sold, including dates and times.

  • Premiums Paid/Received: The amounts associated with your past trades.

  • Opening Prices: Prices at which you entered positions

  • Closing Prices: Prices at which you exited positions.

  • Payoff: the financial gain or loss resulting from the trade.

  • Time Closed: The time at which the Options contract is closed.


Summary:

The Positions Tab helps you monitor your current options holdings, while the History Tab allows you to review your past trades and performance. Both are essential for managing your options trading effectively.
